Several Trump administration officials spoke out about the new U.S. tariff policy on Sunday as the European Union (EU) prepares a series of initial retaliatory measures and markets face more volatility.


Speaking to CBS News, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said the tariffs "will certainly be in place for days and weeks. That's very clear. The president needs to reshape global trade."
